Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Soon after, she moved to Texas to pursue her master's degree in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas just a few months prior to moving in Orlando Florida. She took part in many different kinds of character roles including commercials and local independent movies. Despite the small parts she discovered her passion for acting. She relocated in New York. Her first gig was in the soap opera All My Children. Through the first half of 2000 She appeared on small roles on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The role she landed was in 2004 on the brief film The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain had the privilege of appearing alongside many famous TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was featured in 85 episodes. In the following seasons, she was a part of The Law & Order: LA brief-lived sequel. De La Garza was nominated for several awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress on TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time later. She played Marisol Deko in the role of wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She was her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. After two short episodes it was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a nationality of Italian with a 10 year old younger brother called Cory. The family she was raised in was strict and religious parents. Milano was able to begin her acting profession at the age of seven, when her babysitter took her to an acting audition. With more than 1000 applicants her name was picked as one of just four. Milano appeared in advertisements in both Broadway and on TV and in the American musical version from Jane Eyre.
